Shortage buzz from other cities triggers LPG anxiety in Indore homes
Indore: Even though LPG and PNG supply in Indore remains largely normal, reports of shortages and long waiting periods in other cities have begun to worry many homemakers in the city. The concern spread mainly through news updates and social media discussions around possible disruptions linked to tensions in the West Asia.Several residents said the panic elsewhere made families more cautious about their gas usage, even though distributors in Indore did not report any major supply disruption so far."People in our relatives' groups are talking about long waits for cylinders in some cities. After hearing that, we started using LPG more carefully," said Rajnandini Sharma, a homemaker from Geeta Bhawan area. Many women who manage household kitchens said they are trying to avoid wasting gas and are planning meals in advance as a precaution. Some households even began using induction cooktops for smaller tasks such as making tea or boiling milk to reduce LPG consumption."I booked the cooking gas cylinder last week, but it still did not arrive. Today I even went to the agency office to check on the delivery. They told me to wait for a few more days, which is worrying," said Sangeeta Patel of Sudama Nagar.Distributors in the city maintain that deliveries are continuing as scheduled, but the ripple effect of panic in other regions has already reached many kitchens in Indore.
